Kudos and a great thanks to Shara for stepping up to document the hard work of grassroots warriors with the Family Forward Project in Washington D.C. As a grassroots organization, we depend on social media to share the critical work we do to affect seismic shifts in the world of child welfare. Shara has joined us on such adventures, documenting the experiences with her creative genius providing us with images that we have used over and over on multiple social media platforms and in publications. She is able to artfully combine professionalism with enthusiasm for our project. She captures the collegial environment of our advocates and the intensity of the nation's capitol at the same time. Thank you Shara.      Connie Reguli~

Our Origin Story

Photojournalism and early on, investigative work in helping to expose a large puppy mill organization.. Years later, in 2016, an interest in victims of injustice, occasionally taking on stories with a daring heart~

The Family Forward Project

Our Collaborations

In my arms, an 8 week old Bald eagle-eaglet. I am so joyfully grateful for the invitation to have participated in this effort of the rescue/re-nesting of a Bald Eagle nestling-(Eaglet) as a photographer, by the State’s Division of Fish & Wildlife staff while they were closely monitoring the condition of this precious male Eaglet. Bald Eagles remain protected under the Bald and Golden Eagle Protection Act and the Migratory Bird Treaty Act. Distance from Bald Eagles and their nests is closely monitored and in effect. I was given this once in a lifetime gift of holding this 8 weeks old Bald Eagle (Eaglet) under the close supervision of the Division of Fish & Wildlife staff. An amazing, exceptionally dedicated, and hard working, team! Our majestic symbol, the Bald Eagle is in good hands. Some eagles have become notable in American history. Bald Eagles have been embraced as symbols of strength, courage, freedom and immortality, throughout spans of history, thanks to the selfless efforts of their protectors.

A Beginning

What a blessing to capture this special Bald Eagle's very first flight. At first he was fluctuant but within moments, he was dignified.
